2008 UIL Region II-4A Championships
Vandergriff Park, Arlington
MEET INFORMATION
Date: Saturday, November 8.
You will miss 6th and 7th periods Friday, November 7. This is an overnight meet for the varsity regional qualifiers and alternates only. We will provide all meals during the trip.
Bus leaves: In front of the gym at 1:50 pm Friday.
Hotel Information: Hampton Inn & Suites, 1199 East I-20, Arlington, 76018. 817-419-3700.
Bus returns: (approximately) 2:30 pm Saturday in front of the gym.
Directions to meet: Vandergriff Park, Arlington: Take I-35 north to I-35W towards Ft. Worth. Take I-20 east to Matlock Road. Turn north on Matlock Road. The park will be on your right about 2-3 miles. Approx. 2 hours.
Meet Details: 4A Varsity Girls - 9:35; 4A Varsity Boys - 10:00. Awards ceremony in the community center auditorium in the park at 11:00 for both 4A boys and 4A girls.
Awards: Top 3 teams go to state and top 10 individuals go to state. Members of top 3 teams receive medals, as do top 10 individual finishers.
