2008 MEET DIRECTIONS

Times are in approximate bus driving times from Midway High School.

Sammons Park Golf Course, Temple:  Take I-35 south to Temple.  Exit Central/Adams (Exit #301).  Stay straight through the light, and continue to travel on the access road.  At the stop sign (Avenue D), take a right.  This will take you to the Knights of Columbus Parking lot located on the right side.    Approx. 45 minutes.

HOT Soccer Complex, Waco:  Take Lakeshore to Airport Drive.  Left on Airport Drive, complex will be on right about 1 mile.  Do not park on Airport.   Approx. 25 minutes.

Lakeview Camp and Conference Center, Waxahachie:  Take I-35 north about 40 miles to Hillsboro to I-35E.  Take I-35E north about 30 miles to the Hwy. 66 exit.  Go west (left) on 66 about 7 miles.  The Lakeview Camp will be on your right.  Approx. 1 hour, 40 minutes

Lake Waco Dam, Waco:  Take Lake Shore to Airport Road; left on Airport about 1.5 miles.  Parking on the left off Airport from the soccer complex.  Approx. 25 minutes.

West Guth Park, Corpus Christi:  I-35 south to San Antonio. I-37 south to Corpus Christi.  In Corpus Christi, exit I-37 at McKinze.  Go right on McKinze, and then left on Leopard.  Left on Warpath.  Buses park in Middle School parking lot, cars can park in the park itself.     Approx. 6 hours. 

Lions Park, Temple:  I-35 south to Temple.   Take the Midway exit, take a left on Midway under the overpass.  Take a quick right on Shallowford Road.  This leads you to the park in about 5 minutes.   Approx. 50 minutes.

Connally Primary/Junior High School:  Take I-35 north to the Elm Mott exit.  Turn left under I-35, and left again (south) on the old Dallas Highway.  The schools will be on your right after about 2 miles.  Approx. 20 minutes.

Samuell Farm, Mesquite:  Take I-35 north 40 miles to I-35E toward Dallas.  Take I-35E about 50 miles north to I-20 east.  Take I-20 East to I-635 north.  Take I-635 north to Hwy. 80 east.  Samuell Farm is located on the eastbound service road between Beltline and Collins Roads.   Approximately 2 hours.

Goldthwaite Golf Course:  Take 84 west to Goldthwaite (85 miles).  Left at the fork in 84 on Loop 15.  Less than a mile on Loop 15 to 183/16.  Left on 183/16 and a quick right on 16 to golf course.  Approximately 2 hours.

Byron "Buddy" Stewart Park:  Take I-35 north 40 miles to I-35W toward Dallas.  Take I-35W about 26 miles north to Hwy. 67.  Turn left on Hwy. 67 toward Cleburne and go about 15 miles to the West Henderson (Hospital) exit.  Stay on the service road, and the park will be on your right within of a mile of exiting.  Approximately 1 hour, 40 minutes.

Vandergriff Park, Arlington:  Take I-35 north to I-35W towards Ft. Worth.  Take I-20 east to Matlock Road.  Turn north on Matlock Road.  The park will be on your right about 2-3 miles.  Approx. 2 hours.

Old Settlers' Park, Round Rock:  I-35 south about 75 miles to exit #253 (Hwy. 79) in Round Rock.  Go east on Hwy. 79 about 3 miles.  The entrance is by the Dell Diamond on the left.  Approx. 1 hour, 40 minutes.
